A Project Manager is required for our client based in Manchester for an initial 3 months contract. Ideally working in a hybrid approach, as you’ll be required on site during busier periods. You will be joining Electoral Services Team at an exciting time as it prepares to go through a period of transformation in preparation for the changes arising from the Elections Act. As Project Manager, you will have specific focus on project managing the preparation, planning and implementation of the requirements arising out of the Elections Act, taking into account the continuing business-as-usual responsibilities of the Electoral Services Unit, whilst also understanding and mapping the interdependencies that exist. This will include working with and supporting the different corporate workstreams. This role requires *Excellent Project Management Skills *Experience within the public sector – elections experience is not essential, just strong project management experience *Proven experience of successfully managing and delivering a wide range of complex and high value programmes within a diverse workload to a structured project management process such as PRINCE 2 or equivalent *Knowledge of “Managing Successful Programmes” (MSP) methodology. *An enthusiastic approach, where you work to the best of your abilities and have a keen eye for detail
