Provide team oversight to ensure successful event experiences for internal and external stakeholders. Directly accountable for achieving event marketing business objectives for the Sales, Strategy, and Solutions group. Ensure event-related budgets are developed, accurate, and managed within the limit. Play an active role in day-to-day event management including leading the work of the team to achieve all goals within given constraints, owning complex planning elements of marquee events, and establishing event metrics and reporting requirements. Set performance expectations and provide work direction for team members. Develop employees by providing coaching and direct feedback. Act with autonomy to make complex decisions in dynamic, high impact environment. REQUIREMENTS 10-15 years of experience in event management or marketing required. 3-5 years of digital marketing experience preferred. 5-7 years of managerial experience within the financial services industry preferred Extensive experience in banking/marketing in a financial institution preferred Bachelor degree required in finance, marketing, communications, data analytics, or related field MBA in Finance desirable Strong written and verbal skills Strong proficiency of MS Office (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word) FHLBank Chicago Maintains a Safe Work Environment With A Mandatory Vaccination Policy For All Employees.
