, Job Description Key Responsibilities (what you will do) Customer Needs/Experience Research/Industry Awareness & External Networks Leverage research and analyze data to develop and/or support a sound understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations. Translate market, industry, and product research within to address new market and business opportunities; identify internal and external campaigns and partnerships to fuel innovation. Product and Solution Go-to-Market Develop and activate go-to-market strategy through appropriate channels based on evaluation of the proposed complex products, solutions, and services. Channels and Touchpoints Integration Define the approach and delivery of multichannel marketing integration, ensuring the right processes and methodologies are in place to integrate the customer’s point of view, from customer acquisition to engagement to success. Marketing Campaign Development Manage advertising/promotion/other marketing campaigns and negotiate service level agreements to ensure successful campaigns and value for money. Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities relating to campaigns. Strategy Formation and Implementation Develop tactical plans for optimizing resources and assets being managed within a given area or department. Business Planning Contribute to the development of campaign plans, forecast performance against business key performance indicators; develop business cases for key activities/ projects: and estimate the financial and human resources required to deliver performance targets. Insights and Reporting Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates. Lead execution of complex reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations. Stakeholder Engagement and Network of Influence Assist with stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials to leverage the assets of all stakeholders and meet campaign needs. Demonstrate understanding of the value of networking by participating and contributing in a network of people, technologies, and ideas inside and outside the company. KEY SKILLS NEEDED Commercial Acumen: Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions without supervision, while also providing technical assistance when necessary. Distributed Marketing: Proficient in the distributed marketing landscape, aligning marketing strategies and developing marketing campaigns to offer comprehensive solutions for clients. Marketing Commercialization: Applies expertise to develop the best possible commercial proposition that fulfills the needs of specific B2B and B2C clients and the marketplace . EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS A BS, BA in Marketing, Business, Communications or Technical Degree background in a business-to-business commercial marketing role, preferably in an industrial. University / Postgraduate (Master’s Degree) preferred. MBA is preferred. EXPERIENCE General Experience: Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. (Over 6 years to 10 years) Managerial Experience: Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
