DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work on all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, coding, quality assurance and testing. Deploy and maintain the platforms inline with regulatory reporting. Interact with the business analysts and product owners, compliance teams to understand the business requirements and provide efficient technical solutions. Develop applications using multiple programming languages, cloud backed APIs, microservices depending upon the requirements of the application. Participate in project planning sessions, code reviews and follow test first approach writing unit tests. Evaluate technical issues and suggest feature enhancements for the new and existing applications. Troubleshoot the production issues as they arise and implement the technical fix. Ensure that code and platforms are in line with the industry regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two years of experience as a Technology Developer Analyst or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of experience in lieu of the Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: developing application programming interfaces using Java; building solutions writing Python scripts; querying using SQL; MYSQL database; running and deploying applications on Linux or Unix operating system; building REST applications and micro-services using spring framework; building user interface using react js; elastic search platform; and tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
