Nashville, Tennessee, Posting Summary: Assists with designing online newsletters, publications, and social media content; as well as printed program materials such as brochures, nutrition cards, advertisements, announcements, and messages containing nutrition education content in conjunction with SNAP-ED missions, policies, guidelines, and projects. Experience with podcasting and videography is a plus. Assists with the media messages ensuring that the information reaches the targeted audience. Partners with State leadership staff and SNAP-Ed extension agents to develop content for all educational materials that are to be distributed to the SNAP-ED participants. Assists with establishing and maintaining relationships with local media to distribute SNAP-ED messages within the community. Oversees and maintains the social media platforms along with the content of the site. Creates social marketing campaign in collaboration with SNAP-ED state staff. Assists with developing and revising SNAP-ED material for marketing and communication training for Agents and Program Assistants. Conducts routine county visits across the state to evaluate, review, and modify social marketing efforts with county agents. Assists with staff selection, interview and hiring in partnership with the Director of Program and Program Manager. Assists with preparing the TSU SNAP-ED Plan. Performs other related duties as assigned.
