Applicants should be familiar with accounting practices and software Computer skills – data reporting analysts work with various software packages, from reporting tools to statistical applications, so strong job candidates can quickly pick up new computer programs and use them efficiently Team collaboration – data reporting analysts often work as part of a team, coordinating closely with other departments within a company, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must Organization skills – data reporting analysts typically work in dynamic environments where numerous projects occur at the same time, so the ability to stay organized is important Duties: Through a team-based approach, the SBA Marketing Insights and Information Analyst will execute the following: Execute marketing strategy, especially social media posting for all members of the SBA Line of Business. Work collaboratively with members of the Corporate Strategy/Projects Team and the SBA Lines of Business to develop scorecards, dashboards and related reports necessary to track progress made by Busey Sales Team toward the achievement of Busey’s strategic priorities Gather, organize, filter and clean data related to these priorities from primary and secondary data sources. Analyze and interpret data using statistical and non-statistical methods. Identify and interpret patterns or trends in these complex data sets. Populate scorecards, dashboards and related reports with data, confirm accuracy and share final versions with appropriate stakeholders within the scheduled timeframe Create ad-hoc reports and queries for end users, as necessary Work collaboratively with Busey associates, including leaders, on special projects and complete work assignments in a timely manner WHY IT MATTERS This role is key in extracting actionable insights from the bank’s data and providing key support to the SVP-GGL Business Development in his execution of the Line of Business’ overall marketing strategy. Working closely with leaders in the department and the Growth Strategies team, someone in this role will create reporting and analysis to help strategic initiatives and special projects that help the bank achieve its goals. EDUCATION, TRAINING & STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Marketing, Data Administration or Information Technology preferred. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office; intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and, Access preferred..
