We are currently recruiting for a manufacturer based north of Stoke who are looking to add an experienced Project Engineer to the team. What will your day to day activities as a Project Engineer include? This position will be working 40 hours per week both based from the companies head office north of Stoke and based on site, this will require someone with a full, clean driving licence and who is able to stay away from home when required. The role will be responsible for managing the companies projects, this will include: Controlling the costs associated to the contract. Liaising regularly with customer and ensuring that the contracts meet the customer requirements. Oversee the installation of works. Commission and train the customer on the contracts. Keeping on top of all associated paper work/documentation. What will you need to be considered for this opportunity? Strong Project Management / Contracts Management experience. Qualified in PRINCE2. Experience/training in the management of people. Basic engineering training, a good understanding of engineering sciences and a basic knowledge of PLC systems. Proficient in engineering drawings using CAD software (Solidworks preferably) A strong understanding of instrumentation and controls, hydraulics and pneumatics. Capable of troubleshooting and problem solving. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Experience using SAGE. Experience budget planning and controlling project finances.
