General Responsibilities Uses artistic and creative skills to design optimal quality pieces or desired configuration for various uses such as printed brochures, displays, video deliveries, social media, and other Creates visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including infographics Stores graphics as needed/required on CITO, BOX, or other designated resource areas for designated resources Responds to requests and communications from OVPDEMA Marketing and Communications point of contact(s), its units, and other customers Works with a variety of needs and various type technologies Maintains good time management skills and is prompt for assigned work. Tasks and timing of completion directly impacts web media communications and external and internal audiences in terms of marketing, information publication, and stakeholder satisfaction. Attends meetings related to projects when needed Qualifications EDUCATION Required Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University. 2 years of college in graphic design, art, architecture + design, fine arts or related field; or 2 years of practical training in graphic design with an apprenticeship program, vocational school, or design training program WORK EXPERIENCE 2 years experience in graphic design with 1 year experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator). Combination of minimum education and minimum experience qualifications can be considered. SKILLS Required Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. Work Location Bloomington, Indiana Advertised Salary $15.34 per hour Work Hours The employee must maintain a maximum of no more than 29 hours per week across all positions of employment held with Indiana University. Sunday – Saturday week-day with day and evening flexible hours. Duties and schedules are flexible as assigned by the supervisor based on programs, events, and needs of OVPDEMA. Average 8 – 10 hours weekly.
