Job Summary: The American Dental Association’s Sales Enablement team promotes products and services of the ADA Business Group. As a key member of the Sales Enablement team, the Marketing Manager, Dental Industry will maximize revenue by promoting ADA products, services, sponsorships and advertising of the Business Product Portfolio to dental industry customers. This manager works with stakeholders within the Business Group and across the ADA to match offerings with optimal target markets (such as manufacturers, distributors, insurance companies, financial service providers, and software vendors), in concert with ADA’s overall communications strategy. Primary Responsibilities: Develop short- and long-term B2B promotional strategy for dental industry customers Own the multichannel marketing calendar for industry by tailoring offers, messaging, and timing to needs of each audience segment Translate strategy into compelling promotions, from design to production to deployment/ mailing, such as sponsor prospectuses, web content, mailers, articles, press releases, ads, emails, video scripts, and social media posts. Collaborate with sales and sponsorship colleagues to craft a cohesive and attractive value proposition for industry Strengthen our mailing list by researching companies, working with colleagues to fill gaps, and supporting data-related projects Plan tradeshow and conference engagements to promote products to industry Manage the marketing budget for dental industry customers; analyze campaign results to optimize performance over time and ensure positive ROI Use customer surveys, market research, A/B testing, and other types of data to optimize messaging and tactics Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of work experience Experience in/with B2B marketing and promotions in print and digital channels; managing mailing lists; meeting deadlines and adapting promotional strategies to reflect dynamic market forces Excellent project management, critical thinking, speaking, listening and writing skills Knowledge of print and digital marketing practices, basic graphic and web design and email principles Ability to follow deadlines and budgets, to work respectfully and constructively with diverse colleagues, to set and meet strategic goals and priorities, to make decisions with little supervision and to collaborate with teams Ability to read and understand sales data reports to determine their impact on promotional strategy Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Additional desired traits: Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or similar field preferred Experience working in healthcare-related B2B marketing and sales Familiarity with marketing automation and knowledge of basic web analytics Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Understanding of print production and mailing processes Creative writing skills Knowledge of best practices for audience segmentation and mailing lists Familiarity with Aptify, Salesforce or other CRM system or large database A flexible, persistent, diplomatic and creative mindset Just a few of the benefits offered to employees: Promotes Work/Life Balance Hybrid Work Schedule (2-3 days from home) Health insurance/ dental reimbursement plan Ample Paid time off 401(k) Pension Flexible Spending Account Life insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid Parental Leave Pet Insurance Student Loan Refinance 2 days off to work at a charity event of your choice APPLY ONLINE The American Dental Association is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
