The School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) is looking for an experienced Project Intermediate Manager to join its dynamic Marketing Communications (MarComm) team. This position reports to the Director of Communications and Outreach and will have a pivotal role in providing high-level support to all Marketing and Communications team members. The Marketing and Communications team values and prioritizes collaboration and communication, and we are seeking a team player who can help us be successful in completing tasks, projects, strategic plans, and priorities. This position will be accountable for the management, performance, and completion of cross-functional project tasks and strategic initiatives, while managing relationships with other units at SEAS and across campus. This position will also collaborate with the Director of Communications to create, execute, and evaluate a comprehensive internal and external communications plan for SEAS and its strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, and demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with key stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications and Marketing, or related field Minimum of 2 years of project management experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work with others within a collaborative environment Ability to create timeline of project completion to ensure assignments are finished within the confines of the assignment Strong anticipatory instincts and ability to organize and follow through Experience forming relationships and determining when information needs to be advanced to other decision makers A creative and collaborative mindset Experience writing strategic communications plans Experience in Constant Contact, Mail Chimp or similar email marketing tool Experience updating websites using WordPress or Drupal, or willingness to learn Project management certification desired but not required Passion for our mission of environment and sustainability Experience managing a budget Salary will be determined based on experience Remote and flexible work agreements may be made to allow for partial off-site work at a remote location Job openings are posted for at least seven calendar days.
