We are excited to be recruiting a Content Marketing Manager who is passionate about strengthening engagement among MSKs third-party physician audience to raise awareness about our leading cancer care, research, and education. The Content Marketing Manager will play an important role on MSK’s growing Editorial and Content Strategy team and will work closely with MSK’s senior leadership to write, develop and edit compelling content for physician audiences. In addition to content strategy and creation, this role will help build physician-focused strategies and leverage 3 rd party platforms, channels and opportunities. Reporting to our Sr. Director, Marketing and Communications, Physician Communications/Engagement, you will: Develop and implement content aimed at physician audiences including articles, newsletters, case studies, direct mail, brochures and bios. Build content across touchpoints and channels including newsletters and physician-specific social media and content platforms. Create a strategic content marketing plan that includes recommendations for specific content to effectively impact target audiences. Establish metrics to assess effectiveness of the content strategy communication program, especially newsletter specific metrics and best practices. Act as a subject matter expert in identifying opportunities to expand engagement with physician audiences through MSKs digital properties. Work collaboratively across Editorial and Content Strategy team and the broader institution to optimize the way third-party physicians engage with MSK. You have: Strong writing, editing and content development skills; specifically for clinical audiences and taking dense, clinical information and making it interesting. Knowledge of a variety of content formats (e.g. multimedia including audio, video, images and infographics) and how to leverage to engage physician audiences. Enthusiasm for the healthcare industry, cancer care, research, and education, and MSKs mission. Experience in healthcare, especially experience interfacing directly with healthcare professionals, is preferred. Ability toembracenew opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, thoughtfulness and passion. Expertise at building formal and informal networks inside and outside the organization to further departmental and institutional goals. Collaboration skills at gaining the support and commitment of others by engaging them around your perspective and priorities. You Need: Bachelors degree. Masters in marketing, Business, Journalism, or Health Related Field (Nursing, Psychology, Biology, etc.) preferred but not required. At least 4-6 years experience writing and editing content for healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, or health benefit providers, preferably with a marketing orientation. Ability to translate materials into both print and digital formats. Editorial experience required, with a bias toward action. Project management experience. An inherent curiosity and eagerness to learn. Collaborative nature, with experience working in a large, matrixed organizations beneficial. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and apps. Comfort with digital marketing and communications tools, online professional networking platforms, and B2B engagement tools. CRM experience a plus.
