San Francisco, California, Job Description Position Summary Constellations Brands, Inc. is seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual with superb project management skills to support the Wine and Spirits Trade Marketing team. Reporting into the Trade Marketing Operations Manager and working closely with marketing peers, this role is a key member of the team who owns the end-to-end POS production process that results in eye-catching retail displays, print signage, and branded merchandise for execution by our sales team. Leveraging their merchandising knowledge and negotiating skills, this role will focus on taking the output of our creative agencies, and effectively managing our vendor partners into translating those concepts into best-in-class print and display pieces.  Our team measures success in how best we support the needs of our sales team by delivering POS on time, on specification, and on budget; this position plays a critical role at directly influencing all these measures of success. This role is ideal for an individual who is both an artist and engineer at heart, who has a passion for data, and who is equally comfortable with proofing print artwork as they are compiling specification and measurements in a spreadsheet.  You must have extreme organization skills, be a superb communicator, be comfortable with multitasking and variable deadlines, and most of all, have a passion for what we do. Responsibilities Primary point of contact for our vendor partners, overseeing vendor selection, proofing/prototyping, design improvements, price negotiation, maintaining specifications, and timeline adherence. Acts as a functional expert and project manager on display and print projects, keeping the team apprised of project status, deliverables required, due dates, and risks. Collaborate closely with peer stakeholders and outside creative agencies to ensure art concepts translate effectively to production output. Owns all print specifications and is accountable with seeking alignment across multiple teams to ensure all print and display materials are delivered according to requirements. Partners with our fulfillment vendor ensuring inbound and outbound inventory is delivered on time, and works to resolve conformance issues with originating vendors. Implements process improvements and executes initiatives on cost and time savings through peer training, acting as an in-house expert, and challenging vendors on cost savings initiatives. Responsible for the creation of vendor POâ??s through SAP Ariba system, and in preparing reporting as needed. Engages in the support of other marketing activation or new business development projects as needed. Builds strong relationships with other functional areas to recommend and implement solutions to potential issues and opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelorâ??s degree, including 5+ yearsâ?? experience in marketing, merchandising, publishing, procurement, as a buyer, with creative design agencies, or equivalent. A n eye for detail, style, and composition, as well as the ability to visualize completed projects based on schematics and renders. Self-driven and able to expertly communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment. Excellent project management skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to get things done in a fluid and ever-changing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools and an expert in Excel; experience working with ERP systems (SAP, JDE, etc.). Results-driven focus and tenacious work ethic, with the drive, resolve, and urgency to do â??whatever it takesâ?? to accomplish specific goals. Preferred Qualifications Retail Merchandising, CPG or Beverage Alcohol experience strongly preferred. Previous experience in print/publishing, or in the design and engineering of fixtures and displays. Physical Requirements/Work Environment Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required.
