Internal Communications Manager 32,475 per annum(pro rata for part time hours) (Ref: SUS3938) Full Time 37.5 hours per week – happy to talk flexible working Base: Hybrid About the role We are looking for a skilled Internal Communications Manager with a strategic and proactive style to design and deliver a refreshed and reinvigorated Internal Communications approach at Sustrans. This is an exciting time to join us and you will play a pivotal role in our Strategic Communications team. With the support of your team, you will ensure success is championed and colleagues are kept informed through established – and new – internal communications channels and processes, such as our exciting new intranet soon to be rolled out. Supported by the Head of UK Media and Communications, you will create and deliver an Internal Communications (IC) strategy which supports the charity’s vision, mission and objectives and reflects its values; managing and implementing new approaches from an ‘Always Learning’ standpoint. About you We ask you demonstrate your extensive internal communications experience, with a proven record of work at both strategic and operational level. You will use this experience, developing internal communications plans to support organisational change, ensuring engagement through internal communications and achieve internal buy-in to communication strategies. You will have an organised approach and the ability to spot opportunities to work more cohesively with both External Affairs and Internal Comms teams Sustrans wide. This is a management role, as such you should have experience of guiding and motivating colleagues.
