GiBe Finance are delighted to be supporting a Financial Services business in Redhill, recruiting an Interim Finance Manager on a 3-6m interim assignment. The role will cover the management of the day to day Finance team while the current manager is supporting a project. This includes review of monthly management accounts, hands on production of flash reports and improving current ways of working – ensuring financial systems, processes and controls are modern, fit for purpose and scalable, to support a high growth strategy. Hybrid working structure: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home The Role To back-fill the Management of the Finance team day to day while the current manager is moved to short term project work Oversee the accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts, internal and external reporting to various stakeholders Prepare monthly financial commentary and variance analysis for inclusion in the monthly CFO Board report Ensure compliance with banking and lending agreements and financial and operational covenants Ensure that information returns to bankers and lenders are prepared accurately and submitted on time Forecast cash flows and funding requirements Manage the following finance operations: – Daily treasury flows and cash management – Bank payment systems – Client bank accounts and operating bank accounts – General ledger – Accounts payable – Staff expenses – Bank reconciliations and other control accounts Updating, reviewing and documenting finance systems and controls Manage Finance change and ensure finance systems, processes and controls are up to date, efficient, robust, scalable and fit for purpose Manage and participate in projects as required – Finance and Organisation Ad hoc reporting and assignments for the CFO and CEO as directed Key Deliverables Monthly Management Accounts and KPI’s on time Monthly Compliance Certificate for RBSIF on time Stakeholder reporting; internal CFO, CEO, Commercial Director & external Banks, other lenders, UK Finance, HMRC Daily payments and drawdowns in line with published timetables Oversee the AP/AR process Process improvement projects Your Profile Qualified accountant – ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar Experience within a financial services business – banking, insurance, etc. Effective communicator – written & verbally Competent Excel user Continuous improvement mindset
