Finance Manager – Real Estate. OUR CLIENT are an alternative residential property management company with a track record for creating distinctive sites around the UK. Their residential projects have also been shortlisted for numerous UK property awards. Due to the company’s ongoing growth and the acquisition of additional sites later this year, they are now looking to hire a Finance Manager to manage the Finance function. THE ROLE will involve: Managing a team of 8-10 people. Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance team to carry out all accounting and finance functions to a group of companies and properties. Responsible for full management of monthly reporting to HQ on a timely basis. Maintaining cashflow, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis. Assisting in the success of an ongoing finance system implementation. Ensuring all business activities, financial activities and reporting are compliant with financial regulations. Preparing weekly flash forecast, schemes profitability and corporate cash flow forecast. Overseeing all taxation planning including VAT, corporation tax, ensure HRMC compliance. Preparation of interim and full year financial reporting and statutory reporting for the group of companies. Overseeing financial controls and accuracy of transactions processing. Evaluating and streamlining financial processes and workflows to enhance and improving the efficiency of the finance operation. Liaising with bankers, lawyers, tax agents, external and internal auditors as required. THE PERSON: To apply, you MUST be either ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified and have a background working within property/real estate as well as have experience of managing/heading up teams of 6 in finance. The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting experience with the ability to deal with large group of companies and complex consolidations. You will have good knowledge of all Microsoft Office work packages, strong Microsoft Excel skills; and be good at picking up systems fast as well as have experience of new system implementation and setting up/reviewing processes and procedures.
