Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills required: -Five years of progressive professional experience in communications and/or marketing in a professional setting. -Extensive knowledge and experience with web technology and web content management systems, graphic design principles and software -Excellent writing and editing skills -Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and management tools -Event planning and event execution experience -Experience with photography and video technology -Experience producing and distributing e-newsletters with MailChimp, Constant Contact, or other digital marketing software. -Experience producing annual reports -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must enjoy meeting and working with others -Demonstrated team skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups Knowledge and Skills preferred: -Medical/science writing experience -Experience with marketing to industry -Experience coordinating multiple projects and various internal and external communication channels and projects in a deadline driven environment -Supervisory experience -Experience in an academic medicine setting COVID-19 Considerations: UW-Madison continues to follow necessary health and safety protocols to protect our campus from COVID-19.
