Racine, Wisconsin, The Associate Manager, Global Customer Marketing will support and contribute to the development of sales strategies within the company. They will also be responsible for translating the business unit strategies into commercial tactics for his/her/their respective region. This role is important as it is the key Global contact for local Customer Marketing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate/Engage with global and local teams Regional Trade Liaison Coach and strategize with local customer marketing (CM) on specific trade driven needs, connectivity to other regions, and voice back to global Insights Navigator Work closely with the consumer insights and business analytics (CIBA) team to identify insights needed to support customer needs in LABs (Local Activation Briefs), growth narrative, and distribution Lead “SCJ Way of Commercializing” Execution Leadership FOCO (Few Organized Clear Objectives) / M2S (Media to Shelf) Plans Provide direction and collaborate with local markets on design and tracking of integrated commercial plans Storytelling Create category growth narratives which support global brand strategy and region needs Create selling materials, for instance “how to deliver” tactics such as sales videos, discovery boxes, and sales samples Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, & Promotion (MAPP) Support implementation of principles, guidelines and content that clarifies direction for FOCO/in-store execution eCommerce Integration Collaborate closely with e-Commerce team Scale (single category and cross-category) Special Packs and Catalog Themes (One List Management) Share best practices across the regions Required Skills / Experience / Competencies: Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of relevant experience or 3+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced degree Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies: Multi-functional background of Sales and/or Marketing Commercialization experience Proven track record of delivering objectives consistently Strong management and leadership skills Obtain an advanced degree in a relative area Prior FMCG/CPG experience Ability to expertly handle multiple projects and priorities Ability to partner effectively with various internal and external partners Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and executive levels Prior experience managing ambiguity and change management Job Requirements: Full time position Up to 25% international travel At SC Johnson, we strive to create a positive, inclusive and unique workplace.
