Cambridge, Massachusetts, Job Description ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, MARKETING PROGRAMS AND GIVING INITIATIVES , Alumni Association , will provide complex and diverse support for staff managing MIT Annual Giving’s marketing campaigns and programs, including direct mail, email, and the MIT 24-Hour Challenge and for Marketing and Giving Initiatives’ fundraising efforts from proofing and production to data analysis; manage the Marketing & Giving Initiatives’ email queue via Freshdesk; and execute Class Giving’s regular reports. Job Requirements REQUIRED: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 years of administrative, office, or related experience; robust customer service experience; expansive knowledge of office procedures; ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative environment; detail-oriented, analytical, organized, creative and able to handle diversified tasks concurrently; excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, including a strong attention to grammar, spelling, and accuracy; possess initiative and discretion with confidential information; experience with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work occasional evenings or weekends with notice. PREFFERED: bachelor’s degree; experience with customer service communication tools (e.g. Freshdesk), email platforms (e.g. Acoustic), data and tools (e.g. Excel or Tableau) and electronic calendars.
